Gardner, Wm Murphy and Richard Barrett personally appeared before me a justice of the peace for the County of Southampton and answered the necessary oath as appraisers of the property of Jno R. Williams dec.ͩ according to the within ???? March 27th/56. Jos. E. Gillett, J.P. Southampton County. In the Clerk's Office the 18th day of August 1856. This Inventory and appraisement and account of sales of the estate of John R. Williams dec.ͩ was returned and admitted to record. Test. L. R. Edwards, Clk. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Know all men by these presents, that I, Polly Drake being of sound mind and memory but feable and afflicted in body and knowing the uncertainty of human life, do make and ordain this my last will and testament. 1st. I wish to be buried as soon after my decease as may be suitable with no more expense Dan is necessary for my decent and suitable burial. 2nd. I will and bequeath to my son Silas Drake, the sum of Two Dollars fifty cents in cash. 3rd. I will and bequeath to my son Eli Drake, all the remainder of the cash I have in hand and all owe me as a pension widow of a revolutionary soldier, or from any other source whatsoever and all property of every description of which I may die possessed. There's add to four and then consideration of the ditifulness and ??? that my son Eli has ever exercised towards me and particularly during the latter part of my affected and helpless life. Lastly. I have appoint my son Eli Drake my soul Executor to this my last will and testament and wish that no security may be required of him by the court for the execution of the same.
